Applications are now being accepted from members of Knox County high school classes of 2017 (current freshmen) to replace this year’s graduating seniors on the Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI). This year YPI members, representing five Knox County high schools, awarded more than $12,000 to support youth-focused programs in the community. The entire grant-making process is youth-driven using transferable community fundraising and grant-making skills acquired through participation in the program.
