Applications are invited through Friday April 10, 2015 from rising high school sophomores, members of the classes of 2018 at Knox County High Schools, for membership in the Community Foundation’s Youth Philanthropy Initiative.

The Youth Philanthropy Initiative is a unique community service opportunity for Knox County high school students, which provides an opportunity to learn skills related to the operation of non-profit organizations, including fundraising, and especially grantmaking. Last February YPI members participated in the selection of 11 area non-profit organizations to receive some $18,000 in youth-programming grants.
